Maisonettes are 1-room apartments with split levels (ground and upper level) for up to 4 persons. Levels are not separated, they are connected through indoor staircase. This type represents the traditional old Greek style of houses, having in the upper level a wooden bedroom (called the "ontas") with a double bed (with wooden roof - penthouse style). There are two more sofa/beds in the ground level - lounge, plus a WC room with shower. The Maisonette is prefered by couples or friends as it does not offer the privacy of a separate bedroom.
